The movement's thickness was reduced by 1.1 mm by merging two systems usually superposed. The split-seconds mechanism is now housed in the centre of the oscillating weight’s ball bearing and takes centre stage when the "secret" cover is open. Ref. 26398BC.OO.D002CR.01
