O Audemars Piguet Royal Oak foi desenhado por Gérald Genta e apresentado em 1972. É considerado o primeiro relógio desportivo de luxo e é o modelo mais conhecido da manufatura, fundada em 1875 na Vallée de Joux e com sede em Le Brassus. Um Royal Oak com calendário perpétuo seguiu-se em 1984 e uma versão esqueleto em 1986. Introducing the new iteration of the Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Extra-Thin (RD3) for the first time in 18-carat white gold, taking inspiration from the two 39 and 37 mm models in stainless steel released in 2022. Powered by the ultra-thin selfwinding flying tourbillon movement, Calibre 2968, this new 37 mm iteration is the thinnest gold model offered in the 37 mm Royal Oak collection. The flying tourbillon takes pride in its place at the center of the expressive smocked blue petite tapisserie dial adorned with 32 baguette-cut diamonds.
