⌚ Audemars Piguet Royal Oak: valor e história

O Audemars Piguet Royal Oak foi desenhado por Gérald Genta e apresentado em 1972. É considerado o primeiro relógio desportivo de luxo e é o modelo mais conhecido da manufatura, fundada em 1875 na Vallée de Joux e com sede em Le Brassus. Um Royal Oak com calendário perpétuo seguiu-se em 1984 e uma versão esqueleto em 1986. Entre os vídeos conta-se uma campanha com Serena Williams, intitulada No One Shapes Time Alone, e a apresentação do RD#5 Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-thin Selfwinding Tourbillon Chronograph. Cutting-edge Craftsmanship. Released in 2022, Calibre 2972 combines a selfwinding mechanism with a flying tourbillon. The beauty and finesse of the mechanism are revealed by removing as much as material from the mainplate and bridges as possible to let light pass through, without impairing its functions.
